The clothing supply chain Conference opened in Keqiao yesterday morning, and more than 500 people from more than 100 enterprises from all parts of the textile and apparel supply chain at home and abroad participated in the conference.
Du Yuzhou, President of China Textile Industry Association, delivered a speech at the meeting. Sun Ruizhe, vice president of China Textile Industry Association, made a keynote speech.
He Jiashun, Secretary of the Standing Committee of the municipal Party committee and the county Party committee, delivered speeches. Zhou Shusen, the deputy magistrate, attended the opening ceremony.

Supply chain
The conference held in Keqiao is a symbol of our county's textile industry cluster to better participate in the global textile industry chain. It is also a great opportunity for our county textile enterprises to actively participate in the international division of labor and enhance market competitiveness. It is of great significance for building an international textile manufacturing center, trade center and creative center, and will further promote the upgrading and development of Shaoxing's textile industry and the adjustment and optimization of its economic structure.
We hope that with the good platform of the global textile and apparel supply chain conference, we will continuously strengthen industrial docking and cooperation to effectively promote the exchange and interaction between Shaoxing textile industry and domestic and foreign textile industry.
It is understood that the 2011 global textile and apparel supply chain conference was co sponsored by China Textile Information Center, China clothing association and County People's government. The theme is "supplier selection and optimization".
During the meeting, the leading textile enterprises from abroad, the well-known textile industry cluster bases in China, the textile associations and the chamber of Commerce will discuss the key issues of strengthening supplier management, establishing a rapid response system between the upstream and downstream enterprises of supply chain, shortening the procurement cycle, and comprehensively enhancing the competitiveness of the supply chain.
