Without the Communist Party and the new China, he could not complete his studies, and there would be no "textile life" he was proud of. When talking about the reform and development of the textile industry, he said that in 1986, he was transferred from Hunan Textile Department to the Ministry of Textile Industry, responsible for the overall work of the Planning Department, presided over or participated in the preparation of five "five-year development plans" for the textile industry, and participated in the research and formulation of a series of major industrial decisions. He said with emotion, I have witnessed the extraordinary process of the textile industry from a planned economy to a market economy. These achievements are successful practices of reform and opening up in the textile industry. When talking about the harvest of learning from the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, he said that the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee was a very important meeting held during the critical period of comprehensively promoting the construction of a strong country and national rejuvenation with Chinese style modernization.
