China Textile Association Convened 2010 Work Summary Conference

In January 26, 2011, the China Textile Industry Association 2010 working summary conference was held in Beijing.

At the meeting, Du president analyzed the achievements of industry development in 11th Five-Year and 2010 with detailed data, and fully affirmed the work done by various departments in the industry.

Du pointed out that the operation of the textile industry and the work of the association were inseparable. Since the pformation of the Ministry of textile industry to the textile industry association, the textile industry association has officially entered the forefront of the industry.

In 2010, the association carried out a lot of work around the formulation of the outline of the textile power, and effectively linked the "12th Five-Year" plan with the outline. It put forward the key strategic task of China's textile industry from strong to strong, namely, the four major strategic tasks of building a strong textile and technological power, a strong textile brand, a textile sustainable development power and a strong textile talent, and set up a key research and promotion project for 50+110.

Du pointed out that during the "11th Five-Year" period, China's textile industry accelerated the pace of structural adjustment and industrial upgrading, and made substantial progress in tackling key problems in science and technology, building independent brands, cleaning production and implementing corporate social responsibility.

Du also hoped that all sectors and units will continue to promote their own brand building and cultural and creative work in the new year. On the basis of in-depth implementation of energy conservation and emission reduction and awareness of corporate social responsibility, the development of the textile industry will truly turn to relying on scientific and technological progress, cultural innovation, labor quality improvement and management innovation.
