In a large cotton planting base in Tograklek Village, Tamutograk Town, Awati County, Aksu Prefecture, local cotton farmers, under the guidance of technicians, use remote control intelligent water pile equipment to fertilize and drip irrigate cotton.

"Through digital and intelligent technology, we can accurately grasp the soil conditions and cotton growth dynamics, and then scientifically plan irrigation, fertilization and other field management links. At the same time, we can also predict the risk of pests and diseases, take corresponding prevention and control measures in advance, and effectively reduce losses." said Li Bo, head of Awati Weimao Crop Planting Farmers Cooperative.

As a cooperative focusing on cotton planting and acquisition, benefiting from the support of relevant national projects last year, Awati County Weimao Crop Planting Farmers Professional Cooperative installed an integrated irrigation system for water and fertilizer in cotton fields. Through intelligent water outlet piles, sensors and other equipment, it realized accurate drip irrigation in cotton fields, achieving the effect of saving water and fertilizer, reducing pollution, increasing production and income.

In the words of Cheng Ziliang, a technician of the cooperative, since the establishment of "smart agriculture", it is convenient and efficient to apply fertilizer and drip irrigation automatically in cotton fields by simply moving your finger and using your mobile phone.

As a major cotton planting region, Aksu has equipped cotton fields with "smart brain" by means of information technology such as Internet of Things, big data and artificial intelligence in the process of promoting agricultural modernization. Key information such as soil moisture, nutrient status, disease and pest status can be transmitted to farmers' mobile phones, making field management more accurate and efficient, The yield and quality of cotton have also been significantly improved.

"In the past, one person could manage more than 10 mu of cotton fields at most. Now, through remote control of intelligent water pile equipment, it is easy to manage more than 100 mu of cotton fields with mobile phones or computers." On August 5, Zhao Guangrong, a cotton farmer in Iskesu Village, the management committee of Xinhe County Central Takuduk Area, said.

This year, Xinhe County vigorously promoted the application of new technologies such as water fertilizer integrated drip irrigation, plant protection UAV, and helped optimize and upgrade the cotton industry, so that cotton farmers can become "smart farmers" from "skilled farmers", and agricultural production becomes more and more easy and efficient.
