The Second "Weaver Girl Cup" Workers' Vocational Skills Competition Was Held In Gaoyang County, Hebei Province

On August 6, the second "Weaving Women's Cup" workers' professional skills competition - the final of towel trimmers was held in Gaoyang County, Hebei Province. 45 players from 15 enterprise teams, including Brixin Home Textile and Kaman Textile, competed on the same stage.

The competition was hosted by the Gaoyang County Federation of Trade Unions, the County Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry Informatization, and organized by the County Towel Industry Association and Bangchen Entrepreneurship Counseling Co., Ltd. With the theme of "Craftsmanship creates a quality city, and skills create an innovative road", the competition was divided into two sections: theoretical answer and practical competition, and professionals in the industry were invited to act as judges.

According to Wang Zhenlei, executive vice chairman of Gaoyang County Federation of Trade Unions, this competition is held to further demonstrate the style of textile workers in the new era and the craftsmanship spirit of excellence on the occasion of the "2024 China Gaoyang Home Textile · Excellence Fair". The competition will further stimulate the enthusiasm of the staff to learn technology, practice skills and compare skills, and create a strong atmosphere of respect for labor and talents.

In the written examination, the contestants answer questions carefully, think calmly or write quickly; In the practice link, the contestants carried out three practical competitions, namely, towel inspection, terry repair and folding packaging. The judges scored according to the time spent by the contestants and the quality of project completion. The practical results and theoretical results were added together, and finally the first, second and third prizes of individuals and groups were awarded.

In the past two years, Gaoyang County has successively held professional skills competitions for e-commerce salesmen, weavers, forklift workers, electricians, etc. In the second half of the year, Gaoyang County will also hold professional competitions for lathe workers, elderly care workers, etc., providing a platform for employees to learn skills, exchange experience, and show their style.
