Industry Norms: Focus On The Group Standard Seminar Of General Specifications For Military Training Clothing For Teenagers

On July 21, the China Industrial Textile Industry Association held a group standard seminar on the General Specifications for Military Training Clothing for Young People in Beijing, from the China Industrial Textile Industry Association, the China Children's Development Service Center, as well as from Xinxing Jihua (Beijing) Material Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., Hubei Cima Clothing Industry Co., Ltd., Donghua University More than 30 experts and scholars from 23 enterprises, including Qingdao University, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, Qinhuangdao 9015 Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Tianfangbao Testing and Certification Co., Ltd., attended the meeting.

In May 2024, the group standard of General Specification for Military Training Clothing for Teenagers was approved. The draft was organized by Xinxing Jihua (Beijing) Materials Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. After discussion with various drafting units, the framework and first draft of the standard were formed. In this seminar, first of all, the quality, standard, comfort and aesthetics of domestic youth training clothing were introduced, including the current industrial development of youth military training clothing, the main contents and core indicators of the draft standard. The participants carefully discussed the standard, and discussed the name, target population, application scenario, coverage, etc. of the standard, and believed that some basic and universal indicators should be deleted from the evaluation standard, and the economy of the product should be comprehensively considered.

It was agreed that the smooth proposal and formulation of this standard would help solve the quality and safety problems of youth military training clothing, regulate the market order, provide standard support for relevant departments to formulate policies and measures, and serve youth patriotism education activities. The next step should continue to accelerate the development of this standard.

The Association is fully connected with the National Standardization Technical Committee on Textiles, and has established the Standardization Technical Committee of China Industrial Textile Industry Association.
