Local Projects: 60 Textile And Garment Projects In Xiantao Signed Contracts
On January 9, Xiantao held a conference on the cooperation and development of the clothing industry supply chain. 60 textile and clothing projects were signed, with a total planned investment of 26.364 billion yuan.
These projects involve the production of raw materials and accessories, garment manufacturing, intelligent processing, industrial parks and other links in the textile and clothing industry chain. Among them, the largest investment is the "China Fashion City Creative Industrial Park" project signed by Xiantao Municipal Government and Jintian Sunshine Investment Group Co., Ltd., which is planned to invest 20 billion yuan to build China Fashion City Creative Industrial Park in Xiantao.
Textile and garment industry is a traditional competitive industry in Xiantao City. In recent years, the coastal garment industry has been gradually transferred to inland areas. Xiantao Municipal Party Committee and Government seized the opportunity to build Xianxi Garment Industry Cluster with Maozui Town as the core and vigorously undertake the transfer of garment industry in Guangdong, Wuhan and other places. At present, the city has gathered 1583 garment production and processing market entities, realizing a comprehensive output value of 15 billion yuan, forming a relatively complete textile and garment industry chain, which plays an important role in the textile market of the province and even the whole country. In particular, Maozui Town, as the core area of Xianxi garment industry, has an annual output of 110 million women's trousers, and was awarded the title of "Famous Town of Women's Pants in China" by the China Textile Industry Federation. At present, Xiantao has issued the "Ten Golden Rules" policy to support the development of the clothing industry, set up an industrial development fund of 200 million yuan, and attracted more than 200 market players to return to their hometown to start businesses and nearly 20000 industrial workers to return to their hometown for employment.
On the same day, the conference also held the activity of concentrated commencement of clothing industry projects in the spring of 2023, and 56 clothing industry projects were concentrated; The "Xiantao Garment Industry Supply Chain Information Service Platform" was launched, and 6 enterprises including Guangzhou Mingxuan Garment Co., Ltd. were granted support funds for returning home and starting businesses.
