Sericulture Industry: Shaanxi Shiquan Standardized Production Technology Won Provincial Awards

Recently, According to the "Notice of Shaanxi Provincial People's Government on awarding the 2021 provincial agricultural technology promotion achievement award" (shanzhenghan [2022] No. 43 document), it was jointly implemented by five units, namely, Shiquan Sericulture Development Service Center, Ankang sericulture industry development center, Shaanxi horticultural technology workstation, northwest agricultural and Forestry Science and Technology University, and Zichang sericulture development center The project of "integrated innovation and promotion of sericulture standardized production technology" won the second prize of Shaanxi Provincial Agricultural Technology Extension achievement in 2021 by Shaanxi Provincial People's government.

It is understood that the project has introduced 5 integrated mulberry efficient management technologies, 6 labor-saving and efficient silkworm rearing technologies, 2 mulberry efficient utilization technologies, 1 provincial standard, 13 municipal standards, 30 papers, 4 books and 4 brands. At present, the overall technical level and main technical and economic indicators of the technical achievements have reached the leading level in the province, which provides technical standards for the province to effectively promote the intensive and large-scale development of sericulture industry. Shiquan sericulture industry has the advantages of complete industrial chain, complete scientific and technological system, good mass foundation, wide benefit to the masses and profound cultural heritage. Now, it has basically formed an industrial system of seedling and mulberry planting, seed production and rearing, harvesting, drying and reeling, twisting and weaving silk, by-product development, and the integrated development of silkworm tourism and mulberry tourism. Since the implementation of the project, the average coverage rate of technology promotion in the whole county has reached 43.96%, the new total economic benefit has reached 996.7012 million yuan, the input-output ratio has reached 1:3.46, and more than 100000 jobs have been created for farmers and industrial workers, which has played an important role in consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively linking up Rural Revitalization.
