Weaving manufacturer: It's not cold in winter, and I can't sell my nisi spinning, imitation memory and gall cloth!


The textile market has always been "eating by watching the weather", especially for fabrics in autumn and winter. The weather is more important.

Recently, a textile source revealed that a customer had stocked up 5 million meters of cotton padded clothes and 7 warehouses. They thought they were faster, but they didn't expect to sell any!

In the last two years, the supply of fabric market exceeded the demand, leading to stock outs from time to time. Many textile bosses began to stock fabrics for this spring, but since the end of last year, the clothing industry began to go downhill, misjudging the expectations of cold winter, resulting in a large number of clothing enterprises' down jackets being unsalable and overstocked, which also led to clothing enterprises' poor purchasing of fabrics for the first quarter of this year. Many traders can't sell their goods.

At the same time, most garment enterprises place orders in a small batch, multi batch mode, and even prefer the sampling mode. Therefore, when it was supposed to be "three gold and four silver", the inventory of grey fabrics of weaving manufacturers reached nearly 38 days.


In addition to the weather, this year, due to the huge overcapacity brought about by the rapid expansion of production capacity, the market was bleak. The conventional products such as Chunya Textile and Nisi Textile began to change from "net red" to "rotten cloth". In addition, the fabric stock in the first quarter was not smooth, and a textile boss once said that "the warehouse piled up nearly 100 million yuan worth of Nisi Textile in stock, but it could not be sold"!

As the "king" of autumn and winter fabrics, Nisifang once sold out of stock in the previous two years. But this year, after selling goods and bad streets, the grey fabric sold for 4.6 yuan last year, and the finished products sold for 3.6 yuan this year. What profit is there?

As a necessity of cold clothing fabrics, the recent sales of bile cloth are not satisfactory. Some enterprises said that the market of bile cloth is becoming more and more difficult to do, and the price is transparent. The current price is nearly half of that at the beginning of the year, and there is almost no profit.

Recently, some weaving manufacturers said that the price of 380T nylon grey cloth was about 4.6 yuan before, but now it has dropped to about 3.1 yuan, a drop of more than 30%!

Of course, the bad market situation is related to the market rules of eating from the sky and the terminal demand.

In addition to the "sparsely populated" of Sijiqing mentioned at the beginning, the recent investigation of cashmere sales in Inner Mongolia by CCTV has been hot again.

Cashmere, as an essential warm keeping product in winter, has been cold this year. The price of cashmere products, which have always been high, is about 10% lower this year than in previous years. Not only is the price cheaper, but also the number of orders has decreased. According to local merchants, cashmere orders decreased by nearly 30% this year, and even the orders of middlemen - cashmere rough processing factories dropped by 30%!


In addition to being affected by the great trade environment, the intensification of competition in the domestic cashmere market has also had an impact on it, making it difficult to raise cashmere prices.

Whether it is Sijiqing or the cashmere market in Inner Mongolia, the final analysis is still due to the lack of terminal demand power. After all, as long as consumption goes up, whether you sell it expensive or not, you can sell it!

In recent years, the development of textile and clothing brand enterprises has suffered a cold spell. Traditional clothing giants have encountered an embarrassing situation of closing stores, declining profits, and high inventory. Gray fabric merchants also belong to "Lianzuo". In addition to the economic downturn, consumer demand is also changing. Textile enterprises, as the source, need to develop in the direction of transformation and take the medium and high-end line if they want to break the bottleneck. "
