On April 28th, Sun Ruizhe, President of the China Textile Industry Federation, was invited to attend the "Pakistan China Trade and Investment Forum" held by the Ministry of Commerce in China Hotel, and had friendly exchanges with Prime Minister Imran Khan and Premier Abdel, Abdel Abdel, Minister of foreign affairs Makhdum Kureishi, Minister of Finance Abdul Shaike, Pakistan ambassador to China, Masood Khalid, Pakistan chairman of the Pakistan group, and former chairman of the International Federation of textiles.

Yuan Hongping, Deputy Secretary General of the China Textile Federation, attended the meeting.

According to Mr. Imran Khan, this visit to China is also an important task to sign the China Pakistan free trade agreement in addition to the second "one belt and one way" summit of international cooperation held in Beijing.

This will become a turning point in the economic and trade cooperation between China and Pakistan, and will also open a new chapter in the trade and investment cooperation between China and Pakistan.

In recent years, the "China Brazil economic corridor" as the flagship project of China's "one belt and one road" initiative has achieved some achievements: the construction of Gwadar Port, energy cooperation and the planning of the special economic zone.

In particular, after the signing of the Sino Pakistani FTA, combined with Pakistan's labor cost advantages, pportation advantages, power supply improvements, and a series of tariff preferences, Pakistan sincerely welcomes Chinese textile enterprises to build factories in Pakistan to realize the complementary and win-win situation of the two textile industries.

Sun Ruizhe said that with the continuous development of the "one belt and one way" construction, China's textile industry has accelerated the pace of global layout, especially in the countries and regions along the belt and road.

The friendship between China and Pakistan has a long history. Pakistan is China's only all-weather strategic partner.

At present, it is a favorable opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

Sun Ruizhe put forward three suggestions on how to attract Chinese textile enterprises to invest in Pakistan: first, the two governments should strengthen consensus and increase support for Chinese textile enterprises to invest in Pakistan; second, establish the China Pakistan Investment Joint Commission, establish a normal dialogue mechanism and jointly explore feasible cooperation projects; thirdly, the two sides should strengthen business visits and enhance mutual understanding and mutual trust.

The China Textile Federation will consider the delegation of entrepreneurs to visit and study in Pakistan. It also welcomes the exchanges and exchanges between enterprises in China.

Imran Khan listened carefully to Sun Ruizhe's proposal, saying that the Pakistan government will provide convenient conditions and full support for Chinese enterprises invested in Pakistan, hoping that more and more Chinese textile enterprises can take root in Pakistan.
