Beijing: Seized 2313 Pieces Of Fake CHANEL, LV And Other Hats

In order to effectively safeguard the good market operation order during the Spring Festival, recently, the Dongcheng Industrial and commercial bureau of Beijing Market Supervision Bureau carried out trademark infringement special law enforcement inspection on the market of the jurisdiction area, and found that a merchant suspected of selling commodities infringing on the exclusive rights of luxury trademarks, and suspended 2313 pieces of all kinds of hats that were suspected of infringement.

A total of 137 caps with "CHANEL" logo, 1310 hat with "GUCCI" logo, 761 hat with "Balenciaga" logo, 80 caps with "LV" logo and 25 hat with "BURBERRY" logo, 2313 pieces were collected from the law enforcement officers.

The goods that are entrusted by the trademark owner are identified at the scene, and the above clothing commodities are not produced or authorized by the trademark owner.

In the inspection, law enforcement officers found that apart from the stalls retailing part of the counterfeit clothing, the business also launched a large number of wholesale business of counterfeit clothing in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.

Because the parties concerned were suspected of selling goods infringing upon the exclusive rights of others' registered trademarks, the Dongcheng Industrial and commercial sub Bureau temporarily withheld relevant commodities and placed a case investigation on the parties concerned.

At present, the case is being processed.

Dongcheng Industrial and commercial sub Bureau reminds consumers that when the Spring Festival is approaching, when shopping for new products and other commodities, they should choose formal channels such as shopping malls, supermarkets or official flagship stores, so as not to buy counterfeit goods.
