At present, the laboratory has built 80 square meters of classification room, 150 square meters of constant temperature and humidity room, and 775 air flow meters, etc., and has a professional cotton inspection team and technical leader team. Equipment, facilities, personnel capacity and management level meet the requirements of the AQSIQ for independent import of cotton quality testing laboratory.

In the first half of this year, Zhangjiagang imported 173 thousand tons of cotton and its value was 350 million US dollars, up 7.4% and 14.5% respectively from the same period last year.
