< p > according to the data released by Pakistan Statistical Bureau, in August this year, Pakistan's textile exports amounted to 1 billion 95 million US dollars, an increase of 3.42% compared with the export volume of US $1 billion 59 million in the same period last year.

In August, cotton exports in Pakistan increased by 504.25% over the same period last year.

Cotton yarn exports showed an increase of 18.12% over the previous year, and exports amounted to US $188 million 210 thousand. Exports of yarns (excluding cotton yarns) increased by 8.92% to US $4 million 799 thousand over the same period last year. Exports of manufactured goods (excluding towels and home textiles) increased by 7.29% to 47 million 21 thousand US dollars; and the export of other textile materials increased 13.66% to 33 million 255 thousand US dollars.

< p > at the same time, the import and export volume of wool textiles was 54 million 64 thousand US dollars, down 19.68% compared to the same period last year. The tarpaulin export volume was 5 million 304 thousand US dollars, down 13.35% compared with the same period last year. The export volume of handicrafts, silk and synthetic fiber products was 33 million 439 thousand US dollars, down 8.19% compared with the same period last year.

In August, the total export volume of textiles and clothing was US $2 billion 305 million, about half of the export volume of Pakistan 7~8 textiles for us $4 billion 90 million.
