PTA Has Asked The Pakistani Government To Raise Part Of The Export Tax Rebate Rate.

Gulzar Feroze, President of the Pakistan tanning Association (PTA), said that PTA had asked the Pakistani government to raise the export rebate rate of leather from goat skins, sheepskin, cow hide and buffalo skin from the current 0.8-1.17% to 6.3%, so as to enhance the competitiveness of similar export products in India, China and Bangladesh.
