In the 1-4 month of 2010, the export volume of cotton fabrics in China increased, compared with the same period last year. The export volume increased by 21.37%, and the export volume increased by 26.19%.

In 2010 1-4, the total amount of pure cotton grey cloth exported to China amounted to 491 million meters, and the total amount of export amounted to US $434 million 910 thousand.

The main export countries and regions of pure cotton grey cloth are concentrated in Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Hongkong and Japan.

The export situation of cotton blended fabric is not optimistic in the first 4 months of this year compared to the full recovery of the export situation of pure cotton cloth.

In 2010, the export volume of cotton blended fabric in 1-4 months was 82 million 250 thousand meters, a decrease of 9.82% compared with the same period last year. The export price increased significantly compared with that of last year, and the export amount reached 114 million 580 thousand US dollars, a slight increase over last year.

The most notable decline in export products is cotton blend.

In the first 4 months of this year, the export volume and amount of cotton blended printed fabrics decreased by 69.37% and 50.08% respectively compared with the same period last year. The number and amount of cotton blended fabric exports decreased by 44.3% and 38.52% respectively.

Although the export situation of these two fabrics has lowered the export of the entire cotton blended fabric, the export situation of the cotton blended dyeing and printing cloth is better, especially the cotton blended yarn dyed fabric. In 2010, 1-4 months, the export volume, the amount or the unit price all increased significantly.

With the coming of summer, the market demand for linen cotton blended fabric, cotton cloth and polyester sticky cloth will increase. Therefore, the demand for cotton blended fabric will be better in the future, especially the demand for cotton blended dyeing and printing will further increase.

Whether from domestic sales or foreign exports, the market volume of the yarn dyed fabric will continue to rise.
