International archaeologists recently discovered that a leather shoe discovered in Armenia cave in 1998 has been in the history of more than 5500 years. It is the oldest leather shoe in the world.

This leather shoe is made of a cow hide, 24.5 centimeters long and 7.6 to 10 centimeters wide. It is about 37 yards according to the present size standard. Because the size is small, scientists speculate that this is probably a woman's shoe.

According to AOL website, the oldest leather shoes in the world are found in Armenia. Scientists used radiocarbon to determine its "age", about 5387 to 5637 years. This is a right foot shoe, well preserved, made of a whole piece of leather with patterns.

It's not made by Prada. It's not sold in Bloomingdale's chain stores. If you wear these shoes out of the cave 5500 years ago, you are a well deserved stream of people walking on the peak of Armenia.

The leather shoes with lace are found in eastern Armenia. They are the oldest leather shoes so far, dating back to Giza, Pyramid, in 1000, 400 years older than the Stonehenge.

The shoes are made of a whole cow hide, because the environment inside the cave is dry and cool, and the shoes are well preserved, even the patterns on them are very clear. Maybe it's for warmth, but for support, shoes are stuffed with hay.

The size of the shoe is equivalent to the number 7 of American women's shoes, which may be worn by women, but researchers say it may also be men's shoes, when men's feet were not as large as modern ones.

Ron Pinesi, leader of the archaeological investigation team, said, "too lucky! Usually, we can only find the broken pot, which gives us an entry to understand the social life at that time.

According to the papers published by the online science and technology papers database, Ron Pinesi said that shoes and other articles found in the caves at the junction of Turkey and Iran were well preserved, when they were judged to be six hundred or seven hundred years ago.

But when the samples were sent to University of Oxford and University of California at Irvine for radiocarbon dating, "the age of shoes can be traced back to 3500 B.C., the oldest shoe. We are very excited! " Ron Pinesi said.

The earliest leather shoes were shoes worn by ice man Ozzy, who were discovered in the Alps in 1991, aged about 5300 years.

To some extent, Ron Pinesi said, this shoe resemble the Irish known as pampooties in half a century.

This shoe is buried in the thick stool pile of the cave, and the excrement has become a very good preservative.
