Ningbo Customs Cracked A Case Of NIKE Sports Shoes Infringement Trademark
Recently, Ningbo customs cracked an export infringement case and seized 10080 pairs of sneakers suspected of infringing "NIKE trademark".
Today, by the trademark owner, the export sports shoes are all infringing products.
It is understood that in the afternoon of February 24th, Ningbo customs inspector Xiao Jiang, as usual, sat in front of the computer to analyze the scanned images of the imported and exported goods of one vote.
At this time, a ticket named "men's shoes" declared that the goods exported to Argentina caught his attention. The images showed that the containers were packed in neat, well packaged shoes, and the weight and estimated quantity were identical with the declaration.
At this time, Xiao Jiang relied on the experience of many times he seized the infringing sports shoes in the export goods, and he was acutely aware that the images were quite consistent with the sports shoes. He thought that the "men's shoes" had greater infringement suspicion, and ordered the opening inspection instruction.
The box door opened and the more than 600 boxes of 10080 pairs of sneakers stacked to the top of the box were all marked "NIKE".
According to statistics, in 2008, Ningbo Customs seized 298 cases of infringement of intellectual property rights, with a total value of over 4894 yuan (including 118 cases involving violations of independent intellectual property rights in China), with a total value of more than 2050 yuan, and seized more than 4984 pieces of infringing goods, up 28%, 32% and 376% respectively over the same period.
In recent years, Ningbo customs has constantly increased its protection of intellectual property rights, focusing on strengthening risk analysis, combining with the characteristics of port routes, focusing on monitoring and key inspection, with notable results.
