Cocoon Silk Units And Individuals Were Rated As "Pioneer Units And Contributors Of Climate Innovation Action In China'S Textile And Clothing Industry"

At the 2022 China Textile Conference held on December 29, the China Textile Industry Federation commended 55 "Pioneer Units of Climate Innovation Action in China's Textile and Clothing Industry" and 65 "Pioneer Contributors of Climate Innovation Action in China's Textile and Clothing Industry". Among them, Dali Silk (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., Guangxi Agricultural Investment Guihe Silk Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Huajia Silk Co., Ltd., China Oriental Silk Market Management Committee and many other cocoon and silk companies were awarded the "Pioneer of Climate Innovation Action in China's Textile and Clothing Industry"; Wei Cenlan of Guangxi Agricultural Investment Guihe Silk Co., Ltd., Yu Jinjian of Jiangsu Huajia Silk Co., Ltd., Zhang Jinzhen of Dali Silk (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. and many other cocoon and silk workers were awarded "Pioneer Contributors to Climate Innovation Action in China's Textile and Clothing Industry".

Since 2020, the China Textile Industry Federation has carried out climate innovation action work, which has been actively responded and actively participated by textile and clothing enterprises, and has achieved remarkable results. So far, 21 brand enterprises, 42 manufacturing enterprises and 3 key industrial clusters have joined the "China Brand 3060 Climate Innovation Carbon Neutralization Acceleration Plan"; 137 enterprises participated in the work of the "CNTAC-LCA Working Group on the Life Cycle Assessment of China's Textile and Garment Industry", completed the measurement of 61 product carbon footprints, and filled the gap in the industry's product environmental impact data. These pioneering practices of climate innovation have explored valuable experience for the industry's "double carbon" work, and made important contributions to leading and promoting the industry's green and low-carbon development.
